Rangeway PS selected an Early Childhood Centre as part of the Building Education Revolution program. This building houses the Kindergarten and Pre-Primary classrooms which are purpose built with kitchens. Each K and PP classroom has an interactive whiteboard and also zoned areas for the Speech and Occupational Therapy programs.
The school has an Early Learning Centre from which it runs a playgroup on Thursday mornings, the HIPPY (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters) and the Early Learning Program for children who are 3 years old on Mondays and Tuesdays.
All classrooms have an interactive whiteboard which are used daily as part of the teaching and learning program. Additionally 40 desktop computers are located for classroom use in the school library. The school funded these purchases via the National Partnership Low SES Schools program in 2014.
The school has purchased 100 iPads which are used from Kindergarten upwards to enhance the teaching and learning programs. The school intends to purchase a further 50 iPads in 2015.
